THE CHALLENGE: HEAT

Our customer was not happy with the appearance of her pool deck, but even more importantly, beside the aesthetics, she was concerned with her family’s safety. It is a given that kids playing around the pool spend time getting in and out of the water, leaving the deck surface wet, making the children vulnerable to accidents like tripping or falling.

One of her main challenges was having a pool deck with cracked concrete and without a slip resistant coping for her kids to hold on to and walk on at the pool’s edge. Also, the surface, at times, was hot, and made it terribly uncomfortable to walk around the pool or go in and out of the house.

THE SOLUTION:

Pool Surface Coatings helped her to overcome these problems by installing AquaFlex on the pool deck. Our product is kid-friendly, providing a much safer play area for children, since it is slip-resistant and resistant to impact from falls because it absorbs impact well. Furthermore, it is cooler underfoot, preventing burning, and is smoother than concrete. For these reasons, She has peace of mind and does not worry about her kids’ safety when they are having fun around the pool.
